and follow the online instructions.

Voting Headquarters is open for registration & voting beginning on Friday, April 14 through Saturday, April 29, 2017.

Voting hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 6 pm.  Friday and Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm.  Sunday, closed.

Final Day:  Saturday, April 29 voting closes at 8 pm.

In the general competition it is required that you vote for your top fourteen (14) choices.  There are fourteen categories of artwork and you may vote for one in each category if desired.  In the Youth Competition you must vote for your 3 top choices in each category: Elementary, Middle, and High School.

Your ballot will not be counted as valid unless it is complete.

There will be many volunteers present at the voting center to help you enter your votes online if you wish.  Voting may be completed on any computer with an internet connection. Once you submit a ballot, the results are encrypted and stored in a database. Your Elector ID is then flagged as “voted” and will not be eligible to vote on this ballot again.

Introducing Simply Voting

This is the software used by Magic Valley Has Art to conduct online voting. It makes voting more convenient, less costly and friendlier on the environment.

Privacy and Security

Simply Voting was designed from the ground-up to eliminate the risk of electoral fraud. Voters who bypass authentication or have already voted are denied access to the ballot, and ballots are checked for validity before being accepted. Nobody could ever find out what a particular voter has voted as the results are stored anonymously.

Communication between your computer and our website is encrypted with 256-bit SSL, the highest level of protection. Our servers are “hardened” and are routinely subjected to PCI Compliance security scans. Our application code adheres to guidelines set out by the Open Web Application Security Project.
